The Information and organizational science division of students of the Council of Young Scientists of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Belarus hosts the International forum of students and young learners «The first step into science – 2009» in April 2009 in Minsk.
The graduates of the year 2009, undergraduates, students and learners are invited to participate in the forum.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE CONFERENCE
The working languages of the conference are Belarusian, Russian and English.
Articles are to be submitted by graduates, undergraduates, students and learners.
To participate in the conference it is necessary to send following documents by
19 December 2008:
-
electronic and hard copy of an application form for participation in the conference signed by the author;
-
an electronic version of the article;
-
two copies of the article on paper А4 signed by the author;
-
an external review on the article (reviewer’s signature is to be assured by personnel department or scientific secretary of the institute);
-
an expert judgment (wich legitimatizes publishing of the material due to them being free of confidential data prohibited for open proclamation);
-
copy of target payment;
to the organizing committee (220072 av. Nezalezhnasci 66, Minsk, Belarus) and on email of a section. Point scientific direction on the envelope.
Organizing committee will confirm receiving of the documents by e-mail. A room in
a hotel will be reserved for nonresident participants who will be invited to participate in the
conference. The participants of the conference pay traveling and accommodation expenseson their own.
The time limit for the report is up to 10 minutes, presentation should have MS Power
Point format.
PARTICIPATION PAYMENT
Participants’ fee is:
- 20 000 Br for citizens of the Republic of Belarus;
- $ 10 US for citizen of CIS (to be paid in belorussian rubles in accordance with the exchange rate of the National Bank of Belarus as of the participants' registration day);
- $ 20 US for foreign citizens (to be paid in belorussian rubles in accordance with the exchange rate of the National Bank of Belarus as of the participants' registration day).

Requirements to the layout of the article
The article has to be presented in one hardcopy plus the full e-version (on a diskette or a CD, it is compulsory to send the copy by e-mail).
Volumeup to 3 pages, А4 format.
Margins: left – 3 sm, the rest - 2 sm.
Text : Microsoft Word, shift - Times New Roman, 14, single line spacing (simple); paragraph indention – 1.25 sm; full text justification; automatic hyphenation; without page numbering.
Images : in *.bmp, *.tif, *.jpg formats or in the Microsoft Graf built-in editor in black and white. The image signature should be done in Shift 12, in italics, centrally at the bottom.
Tables : in the built-in table editor in Microsoft Word. The table signature should be done in Shift 12, in italics, centrally at the top. The broad size of the pages and tables are not allowed.
Formulas are done in the formula editor MS Word Equation
References to literature are shown in square brackets in the text.
Compulsory elements in the article and their order:
- the index UDK (ordered at the library on the title of the article);
- the author’s initials and surnames;
- the title;
- the full name of the scientific organization and/or educational institution;
- the text of the article including the article actuality (introduction), materials and research methods, research findings and their discussion, conclusions and credit lines;
- the list of references according to the generally accepted requirements;
- the resume in English (Summary) which includes:
- the author’s initials and surnames;
- the title;
- the full name of the scientific organization and/or educational institution;
- the brief annotation (not more than 500 symbols)
- The review in Russian on the separate page (not the part of the total volume of the article) which includes:
- the index UDK;
- the author’s initials and surnames;
- the title;
- the brief annotation (not more than 500 symbols);
- the number of tables, images, used literature
The articles that do not correspond to the requirements are not accepted!
